

DETR Vocational Rehabilitation
Nevada Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), under the Department of Employment, Training & Rehabilitation (DETR), helps individuals with disabilities prepare for, secure, and maintain meaningful employment.The program, which is state and federally funded, is designed to help individuals with disabilities gain and retain employment or enhance current job performance through training, counseling, and support.
Inspire Career Services, LLC can provide support to individuals currently enrolled in the Nevada Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) program by offering a variety of employment search and readiness services in collaboration with an individual's VR Counselor. 1. Assessment & Planning

Evaluation of abilities and job-readiness.

Assistance with eligibility determination and creating personalized vocational plans
2. Job Readiness & Skills Development

Work skills training, internships, apprenticeships, job shadowing, and on-the-job training.
3. Job Search, Placement & Retention

Support in job searching, job placement, and employment retention (including 90-day follow-up).
4. Assistive Supports & Resources

Access to assistive technology, tools, occupational licenses, adaptive equipment, and interpreters (including ASL)
5. Counseling & Related Supports

Career guidance, counseling, and possibly needed medical or therapeutic services.
6. Transition Services for Students

Supports tailored to high school and college students preparing to enter the workforce (e.g., early assessment, coordination with educational staff).
7. Client Assistance Program (CAP)

Advocacy and dispute resolution support provided by the Nevada Disability Advocacy and Law Center (NDALC), including help with appeals and guidance about VR rights.

Consultation with businesses to assess needs, recruit qualified candidates, and support them through job placement, training, and workplace accommodations
